good life

I was thinking today that sometimes I'm not feeling like posting anything maybe because I'm pretty happy with work and stuff right now... definitely a good life so far this 2012! :)
hope everyone had a great Monday national holiday today..
"The end of life is not to be happy. The end of life is not to achieve pleasure and avoid pain. The end of life is to do the will of God, come what may." -Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Every January 16th I re-read the "I have a dream speech" and every year, depending upon my personal circumstances, a different phrase or sentence speaks to me.

On a plane yesterday, flying home, a few phrases jumped out at me that never had before. They won't mean much to most of your readers, but I think you'll understand professor.

"Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive."

"Let us not wallow in the valley of despair."

"I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream." [MLK]

My dream is different than the one articulated by Dr. King which is probably different than your dream. What would life be without dreams...without hope?

My hope? That I can pursue my dream while I seek “to do the will of God, come what may."
