I missed one of my favorite holiday traditions last night since I was out to a late movie. I'm posting this one from 2000 because it particularly moves me... what with being 2000 and all the troops and thinking about the country and the military pre- 9/11....
I fell asleep on the couch before she came on, I was so pissed when I woke up afterwards. Late night's performance is already on Youtube though and it was really good as always.
Big Darlene Love fan. Never knew it was some sort of tradition. I admire the fact she was both in the Ronettes and the Crystals. Her songs are always great at Christmas- You Better Watch Out...
