put yourself OUT there...

had to post this clip of my buddy in Dallas. I'm so proud of him, he is exactly himself in this interview... the interviewer sort of going for some juicy story and Randy just tells it like it is, thoughtfully as always. Writing has helped him come to terms with many things about his life, he's completely sincere. (he's 6'3 and yes, hot!) I love the ending where he smiles and says thanks, I think that smile says - oh, it's over. Randy really is more of the kind to keep to himself. Yet here he is sharing his story. It's right in line with what I'm going on about all the time on this blog, me keeping up with my faith and deciding how to live a gay life or come out to the family etc..
I love his wise response when asked about Oral Roberts being proud of his homosexuality -- his answer is what every family should strive for whether they believe homosexuality is right or wrong. Regardless, they should continue to remain gracious and still love a person no matter what.

Cheers to Randy. Such an amazing person. I don't look up to many people, but I do to him.
