open house...

updating...

man I've been busy lately and not much blogging.
had the family over for dinner this week, so I was getting the place all cleaned up and tree up etc.. been shopping around for Christmas and getting things planned and ready.. we always meet up at my folks' place with the entire family about 35 in all. lots of fun. I'm really enjoying my time off from school, looking forward to my next semester of college classes but not so much the public school, but I am pretty sure after my two weeks off I'll be re energized and ready to go! ha
I have been reminiscing about my trip to NYC last year in December. I definitely plan to go back next December, by then I'll have more in savings to splurge money with and travel a bit more. but nothing like NYC in December with everything dressed up all over for the holidays. not to mention check out a couple shows, shop some, and all the sites to see there! absolutely. the history etc...
I've been watching morning tv and relaxing with my time off, got the place picked up, still doing laundry and getting piles of clothes on the one half of my bed I don't sleep on organized and finding places to put them away to. basically at some point each year I have to put summer clothes out of the way and get out the cold weather stuff.
we had a high of 74 this week and I was outside cleaning up brush and cutting stuff away. I have some lights up outside wound around a tree in colors of red and then pink and then white. another in purple, another in white, orange and yellow. I also have a tree shaped thing outside with blue, green, and aqua lights wrapped all around. I'll try to get some pics up.
keeping up with gym time and running since I'm eating a LOT of sweets lately. ugh. ha
and the gym is good, good workouts, no stress, all the time in the world lately feels good. and yesterday my favorire "the rock" type guy was there AND his younger brother, I think they are maybe 20 and 26ish??? anyway had a good time chatting up. both are pretty damn hot, the younger one a bit better looking but the older one big and solid. he's married with a baby on the way and a cop in south side of okc near where I work so we always have good discussions. the younger bro is more cocky and will watch himself in the mirror working out sometime, please... if you can imagine the hot exotic look they have of being half Mexican and Half Irish.. all good.
I've got plans this next week to get up to AR and visit my buds up there, also possibly down to Dallas for New Years and see OKC friends down there. yet remain undecided, I hate the idea of putting all that gas money in the truck. ha
I have been online checking out some cruise sites just a little bit, I haven't connected up in a long long time from online, more than a year at least. It's sort of boring at this point, since I'm not looking to do too much anyway. plus in okc you already know everyone even online after a while. and another thing is I think most guys have switched to grindr by now maybe? either way, I think I've just gone through that phase, the online quick meet and greet etc.. here in OKC adam4adam seems to be pretty popular, and then manhunt is still useful. btw Manhunt has a $6 a month fee right now if you want to check it out. although you have to go back into your account to take off the recurring billing. I guess craigslist is still out there, but I quit checking craigs a long while back as well. (in okc).
today I plan to get out and shop some for my brother and dad. pick up some more things for Christmas day, then head to my folks to see the little niece and nephews with my sis in town. yippee. I've been playing piano some these past few days, new Chopin book, thanks rugger!, also contacting some old friends since my new internet service got me unlimited long distance on my phone. (yup still no cell phone here).
hope everyone is enjoying the holidays!
