Dan, Thanks so much for sharing this video. I'm still wiping away the tears, that was so powerful. I wish I had the same strength this guy has. Amazing. You are in such a great position as a teacher to be a wonderful and compasionate mentor no matter the crisis. All these stories lately have been devastating to learn about. We ALL can on some level identify with this issue.I hope you are doing great. As you already know, but I'll remind you I love your blog !! Oh where did you get that military pic of the stud in a jock and in his shirt. Wow talk about my ultimate fantasy, ummtake care,Nate
Greetings Dan...yes, I saw that video Thursday morning (I think) and was glued...incredible, and incredibly sad that, in this day and age, we are dealing with what could be classified as an epidemic of gay teen suicide. Thanks for helping to spread the word with your post of this video.Have a great wknd! All the best,John
So proud this is a councilman in my city!
thank you so much dan for sharing this with us. the loss of a single life is such a tragedy, such a waste.Grant them eternal rest, O Lord, and may everlasting light shine upon them.May Angels lead them into paradise;may the Martyrs receive them at your comingand lead them to the holy city of Jerusalem.May a choir of Angels receive them, and with Lazarus, who once was poor, may they have eternal rest.Pie Iesu Domine, dona eis requiem.Dona eis requiem sempiternam.
Fitting and touching words, rugbysex, from the committal of the dead at the close of the Catholic funeral mass. Very appropriate here. Kudos to the councilman for his forthright and unapologetic testimony.
Thanks Dan for posting this video and bringing this man's incredible story and bravery to our attention. I will post it on my blog today, and encourage all blogger's to post it as a support of this man's cause. Thanks again!
