got a call from the male nurse today, but I was outside mowing the yard, and then I was painting the fence (yes the old whitewash style), and then cleaning up a bit since the weather was so great this afternoon what with all the cloudy rain this week. I had my record player going on the back porch with a mama's and papa's record playing.... ahhh summer.....
anyway, so we have had a disconnect trying to call back and forth this week.. no plans as of yet but he called a while back saying lets have lunch again, and I called him at the beginning of the week saying let's go swim (at a friends pool in okc) either thrus or fri etc. blah blah . he keeps pretty busy with his 12 hours shifts and then I guess maybe time with his daughter (he shares with 2 lesbian moms).
not much on tv tonight other than a bit of big brother. so I turned it off and practiced piano a bit. tonight it was Beethoven sonatas, and the Marionetttes funeral march. also some chopin hungarian dances... fun stuff...
oh yeah, before big brother I was watching all the flood news coverage in south okc. huge flash flood from a creek down there got all into houses, streets, businesses, and the news copter was flying aroudn showing us the sad sould trying to drive into the flooded streets or trying to push their cars out or getting resuced by firemen...weather is always doing something extreme in OKlahoma seriously.
