well for any long time readers you know how I like to practice pack before any trip. I did laundry today and set aside things for the NYC trip. My plan is to bring one carry-on and bring home one checked in bag from the shoping. first off, 3 pairs of jeans, blue, black, and gray(one of which I'll be wearing on the plane). next is a pair of brown converse shoes, and then still deciding which or what kind of black shoe, also bringing this scarf most likely.... I'll be wearing my most awesome comfy brown Sanuks on the plane of course, easy slip on/off. there will be the brown sweater, white thermal, and some short sleeve shirts to wear over the long sleeve thermal shirt. yeah, I still try and rock that look, I'll admit.
if you happen to be out at some gay bars in NYC next weekend, that could be me in the Kozyndan graphic T, either standing alone drinking a beer and fake-checking my watch or phone as if I'm wondering where the person is I'm supposed to meet so I don't look so alone.. ha.
I'm bringing one dark green nylon shirt jacket, and then the basic generic black NorthFace thermal jacket I got last year. My goal is to shop for a coat or jacket or two while there to return with. I think it's going to be wet and cold next weekend. just my luck, but with all the Christmas stuff up, and of course I'll be stopping by the tree at Rockefeller plaza!! I'm excited either way....
already been googling which nights are free at which museums. not to sound cheap but I'm on an educator's budget after all....
