the jeans I wanted to wear this morning...

I am allowed to wear jeans with a school t-shirt on tuesdays and thursdays now at my public school job....
so this morning I plan on wearing my one of two favorite pairs of jeans, the banana republic straight leg black washed denim pair.... with my red school T and black Cons...
the only thing is I can't find 'em. I mean I lived alone for years and I know where I leave my things in the house. and this pair of jeans... well something is up.... I immediately suspect the roomie. go into his room (he's already left) and find a new pair of jeans in a store bag that are Vans brand and just my size, 32x34. I try 'em on and they fit all right but sort of loose, Idon't htink they are pre washed. so I'm sort of scrumbling around the tons of dirty clothes all over the floor, and this pile to the side.......what's that, jsut the black denim color of my jeans... hmm reach in and pull out my jeans with one of roomies belts in the holes......take out the belt, go to the dryer with wet towell and throw in with the jeans........ 20 minutes later, ready for work! ah yeah.
crazy roomate, but I'm glad he bought his own pair of jeans. I will need to go over a few things this weekend just to make sure he understands that my 2 pair of jeans must NEVER be washed, I prefer dryclean only so they don't fade. etc etc.

guys, get over yourselves......

Greek god or OU football tight end #19....

some pics of 6'6, 260 lb Joe Jon Finley. Could you have a more all American football player name than that. A friend of a friend who works at OU was saying how this guy has girls waiting in line and the word is a differet practically every night. Stud! I mean that may seem cool or just sleazy but either way. I imagine there are Hot times being had. Just look at this guy, eyes, hair, mouth, cheekbones, arms, legs, etc etc etc.
anyway the group pic is from a year ago, and then the other one from this year. What's sad is the guy R. Bomar in the back right of the pic. He was getting paid for working at a car dealership where he wasn't even working and then he and another teammate got caught. So his quarterbacking days at OU were OVER, and caused the football program all sorts of grief last year.

For those of you NOT in the sooner nation, have you heard of the OU true freshman football player, most likely playing the season opener, who was arrested a few days before last weekend's game for stealing gas. This guy, wide receiver Ryan Brown, was caught with keys to a gas station filling up in the wee hours of the morning. What's worse is that Norman is his hometown where he had just graduated and all stated from the highschool last year. Poor Poor choices this young man made, it's unbelievable the opportunity he through away. anyway you can reaad more about THAT HERE.

Fratellis "WHistle for the choir"

what's Dan been up to..........

thanks for the comments. great to hear it all. I guess I do remain at conflict and continue in trying to reconcile who I am completely. and I define myself first by Faith.
anyway, man I had a heck of a headache all last night, thus the weakness in spewing out my thoughts in the last post.
I would insert the long boring story of how I was wearing a mouth guard for a month because I grind my teeth at night, and then I began to get a pain in my jaw, so I quit wearing it, and the pain persisted when I chewed food a certain way, and the last night I had a headache all afternoon and night at work, and then today the pain is mostly completely gone, so I think my jaw is back to normal. so anyway I'm not telling you the boring story. but lets just say no worries just in case I decide my expert oral skills are ever needed again... hmmm

I had a great labor day weekend regardless of not going to AUSTIN. Someone let me know if there was a huge great crowd out at Lake Travis? were the bars packed? Did J%%&&#&% and M$&&$^#*$ miss me and wonder if I was in AUstin?? ha ha

well I had a great weekend getting some yardwork done, painting my picket fence white outside while listening to albums on a record player on the back porch (Meatloaf, mamas and Papas, John Denver, and harry Belafonte), and I had a great time with the whole family at my parents place for a cookout.

I'm working extra hours this week, so I begin my mornings swims and workouts again NEXT week. this week was too short anyway to get any momentum going... so I decided. I've been checking out this Collezioni UOMO fall/winter magazine I picked up before work (it was 99 cents with the cover ripped off at the book store) and it's really motivating me to purchase a lot of black and grey for the winter wardrobe and also to GET BACK IN SHAPE!

I'm considering getting the computer out of my bedroom. Just to keep me off of it, number one, and also to keep my roomie out of my room. I've decided I don't like the idea of him in there getting all horny while online.

Anyone read Juxtapoz art and culture magazine? I think I'm going to subscribe because there is ALWAYS something in each issue that i find fascinating. it's basically about graphic art culture and design.

Speaking of art and design, I'm really looking forward to this movie coming to the art museum downtown in Oklahoma City, called "Helvetica". It's a documentary about the font style. That prolly sounds dumb to most readers, but I don't know I find font design really interesting.

If anyone in OKC is reading this, then make room on your calendar for the Art on Tap beer tasting event coming up in October. Just BITE DOWN and spend the $40 for the ticket. it's all the beer you could want to drink, tons of food, and great mix of people. I know I'll be going my 4th year, the first year I took the divorced gay guy who moved to Dallas that is trying to get custody of his kids ( blogged about before), and the second year was with this guy who teaches at the college I got my masters at UCO, and last year I took my bud who I occasionally used to go out to bars in OKC with. Each year had been a blast so far.

last weekend I watched OU beat North Texas 79-10. regardless of the score , it was an exciting game getting familiar with some new players on the field, some BIG players, and some HOT players. I was at the cross country coach's house with his wife, another couple, another coach and his wife -- well you get the picture. I look froward to many more OU games at their place hanging out, always a blast. Both my bud and his wife are ex military, and something about them, they both just seem really open minded and well adjusted although with a certain sense of discipline in ever decision they make. I've taught with both of 'em for about 5 years now. love 'em.

one more thing in this TOO LONG post. I admit doing the typical lazy generalizing American thing in the last post about calling everyone in northern Europe "Danish", ok ok Swedes are from Sweden (both hot). I guess the term I was looking for might have been "Nordic studs"? Thanks again for any comments and emails, keeps 'em coming.

this one is short and SHWEEET!

I love it when he says "money"... ha ha

being Christian closet gay can get really boring........

maybe not if you are able to go out and meet guys and have lots of freedom to live your double lives seperately etc... and I have done that.
but lately I'm sort of not doing either. I haven't been to clubs all summer, when I'm at the gym I leave promptly after workout and quick shower, and bascially I'm proud to say no online "dates" since I've had the roomie. which is a good thing really.
but I guess I'm ready to see what I can change this fall to get a little romance back into my life. At this point I'm ready to date a girl or guy. serious.
As a Christian, it remains extremely challenging. I mean I'm not in any great conflict or turmoil or anything. I still love my job, family, life etc... but I find Roman's Chapter 1 very convincing, untenable, and clearly stated. There is note in my bible mentioning whether homosexual desire is natural or nurtured, it doesn't really matter when considering that God's message isn't exactly one of living our lives giving in freely to desire. So those are just some thoughts.
Have I ever mentioned how sentimental I am. How I love corny group outings and parties. or that how love being a part of a group or team or project. about a sort of "hero worship" for guys bigger than me in highschool, and even now bigger taller guys. (OU's number 19! yowza)
There is a part of me that wants to be the big strong rock solid male taking care of and loving a beautiful loving sexy hot smart woman. but another part likes the idea of getting a big strong man's arms wrapped around me and falling asleep etc etc etc...
This post is not really going anywhere, I'm just getting stuff out of my brain tonight.

someday everyone will YOU tube

back to the work week now from here til spring.................

I'm catching up on all the youtube video responses of "whatthebuckshow" where he asked people to make videos and answer questions about themselves. There have been 357 so far.

I'm not watching all of them but randomly choosing a few. There are some really interesting and various types of people. Anyone ever rent foreign films? If so, have you ever noticed how in Danish films all the people are completely goodlooking overall??? The reason I ask is that there is a response video posted here of this nice cute guy and sure enough, he's from Sweden. So whether it's true or not about all Danish people being goodlooking, this only strengthens my theory. ha.
(ok, ICON, I just edited all my typos in this post JUST for you man)
