left work Friday all excited for the weather in the 70, wanting to get home, go running, do some yardwork, relax! etc.. and I DID do all that but AFTER I was pulled over and slapped with a ticket for speeding. my bad. I was going 58 in a 45 but he wrote it for 55 so I'd be only up to 10 miles over and $160, so it saved me 50 bucks. I took a shirt back to J crew the next day, and then I found a paycheck I hadn't cashed yet from some work I did a while back, so that made up for about $110 of the ticket. dang it all! I'm sort of tight when it comes to money, like I do dumb little things like take aluminum cans back for recycling, and I'll always try to keep under or around 65 on the highway to save on gas, and buy groceries so I'm not always eating out. stuff like that, anyway, the speeding ticket just blows it, I got careless I'll admit.
volunteered saturday morning, ran 3 miles afterwards, then atelunch at the art museum, lately I'm getting the italian sandwich instead of the Tilapia lunch. Next, the Botero exhibit there. It is AWESOME. had some good chattiing with you fellow bloggers this weekend, always nice.
also watched some Extras DVD's , the HBO show with Ricky Gervais. Oh yeah and I got a call from my FLorida bud I met the spring break before last, anyone who's read that long ago.
Today I sent my resume to the language institute that is being contracted by Lockheed for the teachingjob in Afghanistan. I REALL REALLY need a change in my life right now, but seriously does it have to be wartorn Afghanistan of all places? ha!

Afghanistan is exciting, a bit scary, but exciting nevertheless.
This whole budget thing is annoying me no end. Life of a poor student. But good job budgeting stuff. I always try to budget but seem to always go a little above and beyond.Pity about the ticket.
