summer vacation part 2

well I need to finish the post about my vacation to Grand Rapids.
span >Friday morning we drove up to Saugatuck and walked all over the streets and banks there with a beautiful view of boats and the other side of the river etc...we then stopped by Holland on the way back to GR.Friday night went to a birthday party, lots of really really nice young couples with babies and kids, a few hot moms and dads in the mix.. but who has time to think about that when so many cute kids running around and I was trying not to feel jealous not having yet procreated...anyway, Saturday we spent most of the day preparing the back yard and house for my buds birthday party, he had invited about 60 people, friends, family, church friends and coworkers .. and about all 60 showed up. We had a real nice back yard barbecue and the weather was perfect and no mosquitoes (no rain this summer in GR). My buddy's dad and friend came early morning and started roasting a pig. It was done by 3:30 or 4 that afternoon.
Sunday after church I went to see a few Frank Lloyd Wright houses in GR. One of them gave tours of the inside, so I have included some pics here. I look forward to getting back to Grand Rapids at least every 2 years if I can't make it each summer. the tickets from OKC are always high, like around $400 or over. (I can fly to NY or CA a lot cheaper-- sucks)

Nice pic of the FLW house! Sounds like Michigan was a real blast too.

That house is pretty spectacular! That would have been a cool place to tour. I like that pic a lot with the glass windows that you posted.

Speaking of California... expressjet is only $89... a quick Labor Day trip...? haha

Wow that is cool that you go to tour a Frank Lloyd Wright home. He is actually my favorite architect. His best work is "fallingwater" in Pennsylvania. Do you know if he designed the furniture as well? But those are some great pictures!
