lunar eclipse

I got up this morning at 6:30 and went to swim laps. yup, that's right, time again to swim every morning before work. Actually I started back this week because I'm coming into my night a bit earlier than usual for two weeks so I had no gym time in between jobs.
But i forgot to blog about yesterday morning(Tues). I had set my alarm for 5:25 am so that I could go outside and check out the lunar eclipse which sort of peaked at 5:30 am according to the weather man. So I woke up, slipped into some pajama pants, and some flip flops by the door and I went outside and walked across to the sidewalk across the street because of the tree in front of my house, and there is was this reddish ruddy orange glowing dim perfectly circular round bulb hanging right in the dusky sky. Actually it was still pretty dark out, but a nice breeze, and I say there half awake just absorbing the moment.(for about 20 minutes then went back to bed and reset the alarm for the usual 6:40am. ha)
I'm no big astrologer or science nut, but I'm definitely into all things natural. And I thought golden boy blogger would appreciate that my inspiration was sort of literary. I thought of the book "Prince Caspian" where the young prince is taken up into the castle back towers in the middle of the night to study the stars by his half dwarf tutor. And I'm glad that I interrupted my mundane schedule and routine of the week to witness the nice view. guys don't let life pass you by trying to stick to everyday routine, it's the unusual events you'll remember most.

Even though I somehow missed the shout out, I did appreciate the literary inspiration when I first read this post. Never read about Prince Caspian though, but it sounds like a cool story. I'll check it out.
