I had a weird musical Wed. tonight. First a friend and I went down to Millenium Park here in Chicago to hear the Decembrists play with the Grant Park Symphony for free in the Frank Gerhry-designed Pritzker Pavilion. We even lucked out and got seats. In spite of the light rain it was fun. I wasn't all that familier with their music other than "Oh Valencia" but enjoyed them a lot and the symphony complemented them well. Then I ran over to the Chicago Theatre to meet other friends to see the Moody Blues. A different crowd, to say the least. I loved them at the time and still think "Nights In White Satin" is one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded (plus I sucked my 2nd cock in college to that song), but it was too much of a museum performance for me. But a fun time was had by all and I'm glad I did both. Your favs Snow Patrol (snore) will be here for Lalapalooza in Aug. Come up and you can stay on my sofa bed.
