4 days counting down.....

well I've gotten a few emails and suggestions concerning NYC, so that is pretty cool. I'm ready more or less for the trip, I know what I'm wearing Friday and Saturday, and same thing from Friday on Sunday, or hopefully buy some new clothes while up there. I like having one small carry on for the trip out, but coming back I think it's easier to take a train to the airport and i have a direct flight from NJ to OKC so maybe I'll have something to check in if I shop much while up there. I don't know if I'll have time though I want to see a lot of art museums and sites while I'm just walking around in general.
A guy from Dallas who lives there has contacted me so that is cool, also CH who used to date my Austin buddy. He'll be seeing the show w/ me. some guy told me to check out the G lounge Friday night, and maybe SBNY, but I'm not sure if that's going to be my scene really. So let me know if there is any particular laid back gay bars, for example Overnight in New York mentions Sports bar, so maybe I'll try to find that one at least one of my nights there.
I'm pretty pumped, I've decided to get to sleep by 10:30 all this week so I'll get a good 8.5 hours of sleep a night so as to rest up for the city that never sleeps. ha.

check this place out: The Gym Sports Bar (http://www.gymsportsbar.com/) 167 8th Avenue between 18th & 19th Streets
Pretty much the only Sports Bar in the city, although there is another place called The Hangar in the Village that is a leather/bear bar with lots of sport loving guys who patronize the place.

Yes, you are definitely a Gym type. Don't miss it. If you don't like the guys, you can watch sports on the TVs.

And don't say "if you can find it." The beauty of NYC (at least north of the Village, which Gym is) is that the streets are all numbered and grid-patterned. If you do get lost knowing that, don't admit it.
